Wujiang Suzhou Bay Lake Race

At 10:00 am on October 10, 2025, the second stage of the Tour of Taihu Lake kicked off in Suzhou Bay!

Cyrus, a player from the Phoenix Phoenix-SCOM-Hengxiang Intercontinental Team, persisted in breaking through during the competition and finally won the Dare to Fight Award in this stage. Congratulations to Cyrus for standing on the podium again and being crowned the "King of Dare".

This stage is a flat road circuit around the lake, with a total distance of 122.04 kilometers and two sprint points on the way. The contestants started from Lake View Street, went through three circles along the lakeside, and returned to Lake View Street for the big group sprint.

On the first lap, team leader Maris struggled to break through, trying to perform well in today's stage, and performed brilliantly in the first half of the race. At the same time, sprinter Roy also contributed wonderful shots in the initial live broadcast of the schedule.

Entering the second lap, leader Cyrus made a strong breakthrough and formed a three-person breakout group with two other runners. The three of them pulled together until the last lap. The other two breakout runners took the lead in returning to the main group. Cyrus persisted in breaking through until 20 kilometers before the finish line and returned to the main group.

In the end, Cyrus won the Dare to Fight Award in this stage. Congratulations again to the Phoenix Phoenix-SCOM-Hengxiang Intercontinental Team for their great results!

In the finishing buffer area after the race, the three "Dare Fighters" reviewed today's race. Jonas (first from the left) is the "Dare to Fight King" in the first stage of this year's Tour of Taihu Lake, Cyrus (middle) is the "Dare to Fight King" in the second stage of this year's Tour of Taihu, and the "Dare to Fight King" in the overall results of the 2025 Tour of Thailand. Maris (first from the right) is the "Dare to Fight King" in the third stop of the Chinese Professional League (Chagan Lake Station).
Facing the menacing 20-year-old newcomers on the field, several veterans used their rich experience to gain a place in the arena. Behind every victory is perseverance in self-transcendence and the "dare to fight" spirit in facing tough opponents on the field.

Team manager Li Fuyu said in the post-match interview, "It is very rare for us to perform on such a battlefield with so many strong teams. Considering the size of our team, we are very pleased to be able to stand. We will fight for every opportunity."

Tomorrow's notice
Tomorrow the race will be held in Qidong, Nantong, with a total distance of 79.16 kilometers. Tomorrow will usher in a fierce Binjiang sprint battle. We look forward to another good result for the Phoenix Phoenix-SCOM-Hengxiang Intercontinental Team tomorrow!
