Event Overview

Since its inception in 2010, the Tour of Poyang Lake International Cycling Race has gone through thirteen years of development and has grown from a regional event to a UCI Asia Tour level 2.2 international high-level event, and has been included in the Olympic points system . Its influence has long surpassed sports itself and has become an important window to showcase Jiangxi's green ecology, economic development and cultural construction to the world.

As UCI President David Lappartient said in his speech, the Tour de Pou is "not just a sport, but also an important carrier to promote and spread green, environmental protection and sustainable development." This event is 1,051.3 kilometers long , with a total of 11 stages , spanning multiple counties and cities in Jiujiang, Nanchang, Yichun, Pingxiang, Xinyu, Fuzhou, Ji'an, Ganzhou and other places in Jiangxi. The stage types are rich and diverse, including flat roads, hills, mountains, and individual and team time trials , which place extremely high demands on the driver's comprehensive ability and the team's tactical layout.

The mountain finish at the first stop, Lushan (88.6km, mountainous) and the tenth stop, Anyuan (117.8km, mountainous) will be the key battles to determine the overall score (blue shirt), which will test the ability of climbers and the lightweight and rigidity of equipment.
