2025 "China Construction Bank Cup" The 13th Tour of Poyang Lake International Cycling Competition will be held in 11 places across the province from September 15th to 26th.

September 23rd at 9am. The eighth stage of the Tour de Po has started in Guangchang, Fuzhou. Guangchang County is located in the southeast of Jiangxi Province. It was founded in the eighth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1138). It is named after "the road connects Fujian and Guangzhou, and the county belongs to Jianchang".

This stage is an Individual Time Trial (ITT), with a total distance of 14.2 kilometers. The individual time trial means that the contestants start off individually according to fixed time intervals (1 minute interval for each stage) and ride with all their strength on the track. The only goal is to complete the race in the shortest time.

In the ITT, players complete the race alone without the tactics and wind protection of group riding. What players have to fight is not other players, but time. Since there is no direct stimulation from opponents, ITT requires drivers to have excellent self-pacing ability. If you start too fast, you will easily collapse later, if you start too slowly, you will waste precious time. This is like a carefully calculated physical equation.

Famous individual time trials include: World Championship individual time trial, which produces the "World Time Trial Champion" and obtains the rainbow jersey that symbolizes the highest honor; Grand Tours such as Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and Vuelta a España, usually have multiple ITT stages, including flat ITT and mountain ITT, which have a decisive impact on the ownership of the overall championship (yellow jersey/pink jersey/red jersey); Olympic individual time trial, which produces Olympic gold medals, is a contest of national honor.

The individual time trial is the "pure competition" in cycling. It strips away the outer layer of teamwork and exposes the driver’s rawest strength, speed, endurance and willpower in front of the clock. A wonderful ITT is not only a high-tech competition, but also a driver's brave challenge to his own limit.
