Quick overview of Stage 02

On April 8, the second stage of the Tour of Hainan Road Cycling Race started in Qionghai. After a warm-up race of more than 90 kilometers in S1, the race ended today in nearly 4 hours, with an average speed of 48km/h. The overall pace of the group was very fast. Phoenix Phoenix Scom Hengxiang Intercontinental Team made many new attempts in this stage, and also paved the way for team running-in.

This stage is 178.1KM, with relatively many ups and downs. You need to climb a hill 40 kilometers away from the finish line. You have to climb continuously to the top of the mountain and then follow the mountain road with sharp turns and downhill. The track is very challenging.

In this stage competition, Cyrus, who is still the winner of the "Dare to Fight" in the Tour of Thailand, won first place at the second sprint point, with a very eye-catching performance, and also grabbed third place at the climbing point.

As a mountain biker, veteran Gao Yongbing showed his previous advantages in the climbing stage of this stage. He grabbed the fifth place at the climbing point and also contributed many wonderful moments to the competition.

It is a pity that player Aleksandr, after being affected in the first stage, still did not perform to the expected level as a sprinter in this stage. Fortunately, the player adjusted in time after the game and returned to his own rhythm.

The team completed the race safely today and the overall performance was remarkable. Although the energy consumption of the leader Cyrus was too high, his wonderful moments and hard sprint helped the team win a key position in the next stage and gain some starting advantages.

Coach Li Fuyu said: "Although we achieved some results and gained some advantages today, the next competition will be very fierce, and the team will meet the next challenges with a rigorous attitude."

Tomorrow will usher in the Queen's stage of this round-the-island race. After watching the two games, players from each team will have some attempts and challenges in the following events. We look forward to the wonderful performance of the Hengxiang team. Let us continue to pay attention to the wonderful performance of the Hengxiang racers and cheer for the athletes together!
